<p><em>A company of the Hermes group since 1976, the bespoke footwear is still hand-crafted in our workshop in Paris while the ready to wear collections are manufactured in our Northampton factory.</em></p>

Mission Générale
<p>The Product Development Intern will work within the Product Development Team to support them in their “back office”, duties which include: organisation and monitoring of sample inventory, data entry, and various ad-hoc jobs.</p>
Principales activités
<ul>
<li>Create lists for master, agent and press samples to be sent to the Commercial department for inputting in the system</li>
<li>Label, box and dispatch samples worldwide in readiness for meetings, photography or showrooms</li>
<li>Unpack, check and mark off all samples that have been returned</li>
<li>Ensure the Company’s boardroom display is up to date, no discontinued shoes on display and as many new styles as possible</li>
<li>Send returned samples to either the factory shop (if good quality) or into the factory for touching up (lower quality)</li>
<li>Making stock requisition forms for any borrowed stock</li>
<li>Liaising with our marketing team to confirm when shoes are required for photography purposes, ensuring shoes arrive on time, providing all information required for labels etc to be created</li>
<li>Request and dispatch leather swatch books, ensuring all discontinued leather swatches are returned</li>
<li>Ensure the Company website is fully up to date, including styles, colours and prices</li>
<li>Collate all information required for e-sale upload twice yearly</li>
<li>Responsible for the prototype stock, including availability of models, inputs, outputs, inventory</li>
<li>Ensure archiving of complete collections following showroom/press presentations</li>
<li>All ad-hoc project work/tasks, including administration, organizing and tidying.</li>
</ul>
Profil du candidat
<ul>
<li>Passion for footwear, specifically menswear (ideally a footwear background or luxury retail)</li>
<li>2D CAD shoe design skills (Illustrator & Photoshop would be ideal)</li>
<li>Good oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>High level of organization skills</li>
<li>Responsible and conscientious attitude; organized, rigorous and ability to work with autonomy</li>
<li>Not afraid of physical work</li>
<li>Good knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel and Power Point)</li>
<li>Some experience of retail administration. A basic understanding of CRM, databases and e-commerce would be a benefit</li>
<li>Ability to speak/understand Italian and/or French would be advantageous but not a requirement</li>
