General Role

<p>As a Sales Associate, you will join a dynamic sales team and be available to work within a 7-day roster including weekends.</p> <p> </p> <p>Previous customer service experience is preferred with a high standard of presentation, interpersonal skills and grooming. You will be a team player and embody the values of the Hermès house. You will possess excellent spoken and written English, with strong communications skills. You will be able to quickly adapt to an ever-evolving, rapid moving retail environment whilst maintaining professionalism and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service to our clientele. You will be passionate about our creations whilst also sensitive to the craft and identity of our Maison.</p> <p>This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team within Hermès Maison.</p>

Main responsibilities

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Client Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Offer an exceptional experience to all clients, using the Sales and Service Ambassador guidelines</li> <li>Keep clients informed on new products or services, changes, etc</li> <li>Develop and strengthen meaningful relationships with new and existing clients</li> </ul> <p><strong>Boutique Operations:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to make decisions aligned with the businesses operating standards and values in a collaborative manner, with the support of your Store Manager and Supervisor</li> <li>Manage your department/s by consistently handling both Front of House and Back of House operations as efficiently as possible</li> <li>Display best practice by accurate and correct use of all Hermès Systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Sales Management & Department Development:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor and analyse sales of Departments and keep records of sales activities</li> <li>Execute sales plans and participate in marketing events and promotion programs</li> <li>Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained as per the Visual Merchandising guidelines</li> </ul> <p><strong>Teamwork:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Encourage, motivate and knowledge share with team on and off the boutique floor</li> <li>Communicate feedback gathered through in-store activities to store management</li> <li>Embody the values of the House and strive to inspire fellow team members</li> </ul> <p><strong>Inventory Management:</strong></p> <ul> <li>In-depth knowledge of the operational control and inventory management systems to ensure smooth product flow</li> <li>Inventory accuracy for departments through participating in cycle counts and stocktakes</li> </ul>
