<p>The role of the Operations Manager contributes to the business of the store and to the quality of customer service by ensuring an optimal management of the stock, service and maintenance. Supervising the stock officer, there is strong support and partnership between the operations team and the sales team. He/she is responsible for continuous and permanent stock accuracy between system-based and physical stocks, for overall organization and tidiness of all storage areas, in strict compliance with Group and local procedures. He/she supervises the After-Sales activities of the store. He/she is fully in charge of the management of all maintenance issues and the roll out of operational projects in the store.</p> <p>He/she manages the Stock Officer/Sales & Service Support.</p>

Principales activités

<p><strong>Management and coordination</strong></p> <p><strong>1) Team management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage Stock/Sales & Service team, organize and prioritize day-to-day activities according to  business needs and ensuring the best stock and After-sales service at all times</li> </ul> <p><strong>2) Transversal management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work in constant cooperation with store management team</li> <li>Liaise with the region’s and Paris Head Office for all matters related to the stock, After-Sales and maintenance issues</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Stock Operations Management and Control</strong></p> <p><strong>1) Day-to-day operations and controls for a perfect stock accuracy</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage, supervise and support the team on processing all incoming and outbound product flows, while ensuring perfect synchronization between physical and system-based flows </li> <li>Follow-up and correct negative stocks daily, with the help of the sales & service support and sales teams</li> <li>Stock takes & cycle counts - plan and ensure appropriate preparation for them</li> <li>Implement corrective actions to improve future stock takes results and reduce shrinkage</li> </ul> <p><strong>2) Continuous process improvement and performance follow-up</strong></p> <ul> <li>Define and implement an optimized organization of storage </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Be responsible for implementation, training & adherance of stock-related procedures</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Manage replenishment flows from remote stockroom & Help store management to monitor overall stock and prepare purchase </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Maintenance & Security </strong></p> <ul> <li>Be responsible for store day-to-day maintenance (lighting, cleaning, access, security…): coordinate with suppliers and the Retail Operations Manager based in Brussels to ensure timely interventions and control the quality</li> <li>In collaboration with the Store Manager, propose long-term planning for maintenance issues to Retail Operations Manager</li> <li>Be responsible for the application of procedures related to internal control and health & safety</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Others : </strong></p> <ul> <li>Under the lead of the Retail Operations Manager in Brussels implement new tools and procedures</li> <li>Be the point of reference for the other Nordic stores for training and support with regards to Stock, Operations and After-Sales issues</li> </ul>

Profil du candidat

<ul> <li>Minimum 10 years of experience, with previous experience in store environment or in Operations</li> <li>Taste for Retail</li> <li>Management experience and excellent behavioral and communication skills/leadership</li> <li>Ability to work with sales teams and liaise with corporate</li> <li>Very organized, rigorous and reliable</li> <li>Able to anticipate, organize and prioritize the activities of a small team</li> <li>Strong problem solving capabilities and outstanding organisational skills</li> <li>Service-oriented, proactive to propose improvements and support other team members</li> <li>Demonstrate good team spirit</li> <li>Proficient with Excel/IT tools</li> <li>Languages: Fluent English, Danish or French are a plus</li> <li>Very good knowledge of retail IT systems (eg CEGID)</li> </ul>
