General Role

<p>The Regional IT Operations Director role is to:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that the underlining network infrastructure and its associated technologies operate efficiently, perform within agreed targets and deliver a secure platform for the Company to carry out its business.</li> <li>Ensure strong regional alignment with the Global CISO team/strategy and local regulations related to IT, Data Protection and Cybersecurity activities and promote any regional requirements for integration in the Global Information Security strategy.</li> <li>Provide overall technical and managerial leadership to the team member</li> <li>Provide guidance and perspective on Innovation (process and equipment)</li> </ul>

Main responsibilities

<p><strong>Operation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide strong guidance and leadership to the teams in the support of the day-to-day IT Operations’ activities, in handling escalations, resolving user issues, and monitoring the performance of business-critical systems to prevent delays, outages and quickly resolve ongoing issues.</li> <li>Ensures mission critical software/services and systems are available and accessible to all users as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Infrastructure</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage the data center design, technology implementation, capacity planning/scaling, and operations for systems that are supporting multiple business systems and functions. Provide proactive monitoring, alerting, and reporting processes and procedures to ensure optimal system performance.</li> <li>Provide project management leadership for infrastructure growth and deployment initiatives. Accountable for ensuring technology projects incorporate the appropriate planning, technical analysis, budgets, and resource management in order to meet deadlines and objectives.</li> <li>Manage a combination of internal team members and vendor services to effectively accomplish goals.</li> <li>Develop and implement processes and procedures and ensure they are followed consistently across the IT organization.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with hardware/software updates and lifecycle methodologies.</li> <li>Selects technology providers and serves as subject matter expert in negotiation of contracts and agreements. Maintains strong relationships with providers to ensure maximum service. Proactively evaluates IT services to determine the right sourcing and cost model.</li> <li>Works with IT and Business Teams to identify, source, and cost infrastructure requirements for all initiatives.</li> <li>Responsible for Disaster Recovery Planning and testing. Oversees an annual DRP test for all critical business systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Security</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as the Regional entry point for the Global Cybersecurity team and the local functions for IT Security and Information Security.</li> <li>Ensure alignment, implementation and monitoring of local regulations and policies in relation with Global CISO.</li> <li>Produce presentations and analysis describing Information Security and CISO team activities for a range of audiences with varying levels of seniority.</li> <li>Provide level 3 support for Server Infrastructure, Network and End-User computing</li> </ul>


<ul> <li>Degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field.</li> <li>Over 10 yrs experience as a Regional IT director or similar role with experience in enterprise level IT environments across Operations, Infrastructure and Cyber Security.</li> <li>5+ years’ experience in delivering Service management in an enterprise environment, including strategic and tactical Service management/assurance process improvements.</li> <li>Certification in Project Management (PMI/Srum), Networking, Cloud and Security (CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001) will be a plus.</li> <li>Proven experience in vendor management and outsource IT services.</li> <li>Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specification.</li> <li>Good hands-on skills on computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.</li> <li>Excellent organizational and leadership skills with strong stakeholder management experience.</li> <li>Outstanding communication abilities.</li> <li>Excellent English and Chinese written and oral communications skills.</li> <li>Regular travels required.</li> </ul>
