Hermes Italie was born in 1987 with the first store in Milan, 21 via Sant'Andrea. Since then the branch was opened and the continuous growth lead to the current retail presence in the country: 11 stores, including 2 seasonal openings and 2 flagship stores, located in Milan and Rome.

General Role


The Retail merchandising support is part of the Retail team of Hermès Italie based at Head Office. The main objective of the Retail team is to give all the support required by the stores in Italy, Greece and Turkey, in order for them to achieve their sales objectives, meet expected standards and deliver the best service to our customers.

Main responsibilities


The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Merchandising team, on the following activities: • to optimize the product’s offer of all Métiers within the Hermès Italie network; • to ensure the maximum sales; • to maintain a high turnover of stock; • to make sure each store has a congruent and unique product offer and respect of the visual merchandising guidelines; • to support in defining the budgets and the OTB; • to participate to the launch of new products and follow-up the development of these products in all our stores; • to produce sales and stock analysis for PO (monthly and ad hoc), using dedicated software; • to follow-up the stock coverage per Metier (MOS); • to analyze every aspect of bestsellers (price points, colors or size) and to ensure that bestsellers reach their full potential; • to monitor slow sellers, advise and help PO with appropriate actions; • to liaise with Logistics teams in Paris for delivery (reception and claim); • to gather information on competitors and customers (CRM, data base analysis); • to support the Merchandising team in back office activities, such as reporting, organization of practical aspects related to meetings and trainings.

Profile


• The ideal candidate must be fluent in Italian and English; • Graduate or undergraduate with an economic education; or has a Master’s degree in retail fashion/luxury; • Have excellent knowledge of computer tools (Excel, Powerpoint) • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, service orientation, passion for retail; • Professionalism, enthusiasm, dynamism and teamwork complete the profile.
